The Akefu Raids were a series of attacks against the server that lasted from early May 2022 to late June 2022. The attacks consisted primarily of using throwaway accounts acquired via The Altening to spam the chat of the server with the goal of making the server unusable to players. Other attacks would involve attempts to crash the server using commonly abused exploits. The attacks were orchestrated by the Granite Castle, a friend group consisting primarily of disgruntled players and staff members.
