videogamesm12 (historically known as VideoGameSmash12) is a Senior Admin, Developer, Forum Moderator, Discord Administrator, and Interim Owner. He is notable for his dedication to the server, community, and history, having played on the server for nearly 10 years.

Having joined for the first time in late 2013 and after becoming a staff member within the following year, he stagnated in the ranks significantly following months of rapidly rising through the ranks until mid-2017, when he became a probationary Senior Admin for the first time. Wild1145 suspended Video in August 2017 for conspiring with then-active rogue UYScutix as part of the 2017 UYScutix Revolution, but he was gradually reinstated to the Telnet Clan Admin rank over the course of early to mid 2018. He became a full Senior Admin after successfully re-applying for the rank in mid-2019.

Following months of targeted abuse, harassment, and bullying by elite members of the Seth administration, he attempted to retire in April 2020. Following initial public revelations by a former elite member about corruption perpetrated by said elite staff members, he worked closely with _PHR to further expose them and remove their influence from the community.

History

2013 - Humble Beginnings

On October 30, 2013, Video joined the server for the first time whilst looking for the popular YouTube influencer SkyDoesMinecraft. Although fascinated by the concept of a free-op server, he was banned on several occasions for breaking the rules, which led him to create an account on the ProBoards forum on November 4, 2013.

2014 - Rise Through The Ranks

In early 2014, expressing a desire to become a Super Admin, he decided to improve his behavior in order to gain the favor of staff members at the time. He began to excessively praise staff members, to the point where he even built statues of their Minecraft skins on the server. Some appreciated the ego boost, but others figured out rather quickly what he was trying to do and called him out for his behavior.

Despite this, his attempts proved to be successful as JJ_Jaguar2000 created a thread in the Telnet Lounge on March 24, 2014 to declare his intent to pick Video to become a Super Admin under the Telnet Picks a Super program.

I have decided to appoint this user under the TPAS program, I find him quite confident and i can see him as a super admin in my eyes

Later that same day, Video created an application. Objections in the application argued he was trying too hard for the rank and highlighted his tendency to excessively praise staff members. However, the application was considered automatically approved regardless due to the nature of the aforementioned program. As a result, MashedPtatoz added him to the Super Admin list less than an hour after the the application was created. Finest95 formally approved and closed the application the next day.

Almost immediately after being added to the admin list on the server, he was trained on the basics by other admins who were online at the time. While being tested on certain scenarios, he was soon after scolded for using punishment commands on other admins who were testing him, though the staff members involved quickly came to his defense but suggested that he smite himself instead of other admins.

Two months after being promoted to Super Admin status, he applied for Telnet Admin on May 24, 2014 and was promoted on June 10, 2014 alongside staff members xXShadowMCXx and Lead_Falcon.
