Mark was introduced to Minecraft by [[Community:Madgeek1450|Madgeek1450]], a friend of his from Second Life. Seeing the potential of a Minecraft server, he created what would become TotalFreedom on November 11, 2010. At the time, it was an 8 player slot server and was divided into two separate servers: "Hell" and "Earth".
