2022 Akefu Raids: Difference between revisions

The '''The Akefu Raids''' were a series of attacks against the server that lasted from early May 2022 to late June 2022. The attacks consisted primarily of using throwaway accounts acquired via [[The Altening]] to spam the chat of the server with the goal of making the server inhospitableunusable to players. Other attacks would involve attempts to crash the server using commonly abused exploits. The attacks were orchestrated by the [[Granite Castle]], a friend group consisting primarily of disgruntled both players and staff members. During the investigation, most of the group's members were suspended and later banned without the ability to appeal due to their involvement.
